You can almost smell the weed, the blood, and the sweat as DUEL Live At The Electric Church takes you on a tripped out journey to an old abandoned Spanish church turned DIY rock venue in East Austin, Texas USA.
The front door is locked....The entrance is around the backside of the old building where rowdy metalheads and stoners huddle around a small bonfire made mostly of trash.
Through the walls you can hear the thumping of a full on beer soaked high energy rock show.
Swirling psychedelic tones breaking into blistering riffs, and the relentless chugging and smashing as DUEL deals one sonically punishing blow after another.

Dzjenghis Khan – Dzjenghis Khan - CD-Digi
One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!

The 8-track album is a mix of old and new tracks. “Some days I just like to sit outside under the sun with my guitar and sing my songs to myself. It relaxes me. It also reminds me of what my songs are about. ...went to Tony's house when I got back to the desert last October...put up a mic and rolled tape. It took 3 days to make this recording...so we naturally called it Tres Dias. Dig it.”
