Borracho - Pound Of Flesh - CD
It's been five years since Washington D.C based fuzz rockers, Borracho, released their last studio record, Atacama - a record that was hailed as "one of 2016's finest in heavy rock and roll" by unofficial voice of the underground, The Obelisk.
Borracho further refine their sound with Pound of Flesh. Everything you loved from the bands Spitting the Sky/Oculus days, through to their more recent success with 2016's Atacama, is still very much present - but there is a certain sense of confidence and/or purpose to the sound and production that grabs the listener by the neck and says "Listen up". What follows is over 50 minutes of brand new, fuzzed out heavy riff-fuelled rock that will be sure to send shock-waves through the scene when it erupts later this summer.

Cosmic Reaper – Cosmic Reaper - CD-Digi
North Carolina’s Cosmic Reaper comes crashing through the speakers with their self-titled debut album.
Dripping with a classic 70’s attitude, mixing sci-fi oriented lyrics, brief but satisfying moments of prog exploration, all while keeping one foot firmly planted in modern doom, you start to get an idea of the interstellar journey that awaits.
The heaviest elements are there and are guaranteed to move planets.
The stars align and engines ignite as Cosmic Reaper claws at the soul of the genre.
Wedge - Like No Tomorrow - CD-Digi
The Berlin-based power trio once more is driving their musical WEDGE in between many different genres: Garage rock turns progressive while psychedelic guitar lines are tripping over hard rocking riffs. Does this work together? Hell yes! For fans of Deep Purple, MC5, Led Zeppelin or Humble Pie this album is a sure shot. You like fuzz guitars? Hammond organ and vocals trough a swirling Leslie cabinet? More cowbell? You got it. But unlike our beloved rock records from around 1971, which we've heard a hundred times before "Like No Tomorrow" has one huge advantage: It's brand new and the 8 tracks, ranging from 3:00 to 9:00 minutes, deliver a fresh, unspent and unmistakably unique taste to the rock'n'roll menu.
