Komatsu's powers of mass construction resurrected a rare desert flower in their fourth album “Rose of Jericho”.
Light meets heavy and desolation meets beauty in the 9 powerful songs that make up this album.
“Rose of Jericho” combines a lyrical depth that resonates the current (political) rabbitholes with dark, groovy, warm riffs supporting rugged vocals. The sound of the album is a real mixture between Stoner and Metal, but with melodic and choral vocal lines. Change of tempo and rhythm, make the listener glue to the speakers until the last note of the album. for the first time on vinyl, the expanded score to the world’s famous shockumentary ‘MONDO CANE’, composed by Riz Ortolani and Nino Oliviero.
Spikerot Records has curated the project together with CAM Sugar, presenting a new original artwork and a restored musical experience.
The CD Version presents the original tracklist known so far, the same one that originally came out in 1962, containing the Grammy-award-winning song ‘More’, plus 21 previously unreleased tracks, taken from the original recording sessions and carefully selected by Spikerot Records.

Stoned Jesus – Stormy Monday EP - CD Digi
Stoned Jesus emerged as Igor's Krobak side-project, dealing with the heavier and darker side of rock-music. Beginning with sludge and post-metal blueprints, it shaped into a full-time band, becoming musically closer to stoner rock and traditional doom metal in vein of early Black Sabbath, later days Electric Wizard and classic Sleep. SJ's second demo, “Occult/Black Woods”, contains two fuzzy sabbathian epics filled with catchy riffs, Hendrix-like guitar solos and professional vocals. After releasing their début "First Communion" record and playing dozens of gigs in Ukraine and Russia, the band went through line-up change and released a new EP entitled "Stormy Monday" on April 7th 2011.
